Canning Electric is proud to be celebrating 25 years in business. While much has changed in that time, it is our philosophy of listening to customers, understanding their needs and exceeding expectations that has allowed us to expand from a sole proprietorship to a crew of over 50. This focus has allowed Canning Electric to develop a reputation for quality through a business based on integrity, fostering strong employee loyalty.

Our success would not be possible without our customers, employees or the communities we serve. 2020 has been a challenging year for many due to the Covid-19 pandemic. At Canning Electric, we do our part to be here for our community and put the safety of our employees and customers above all else.

Canning Electric started with one employee and one classification (C-10 Electrical Classification) and grew to add A & B Classifications (General Engineering & General Contracting respectively) which has allowed us to offer a full range of services, from project planning through project completion. We are also proud to be LBE-certified in the city of San Francisco.

25 Years marks an important milestone for Canning Electric. We strive to run a business based on integrity and quality. That dedication has allowed us to achieve this important milestone, and we look forward to serving you for another 25 years!

Thank You Letter from the Founder

As I reflect on the progression of Canning Electric over the past 25 years, I realize how grateful I am to be living my dream. I have always wanted to be an electrician, so starting my own electrical company in 1995 was a huge personal achievement. Back then it was just me. I did residential services, installed lighting and plugs, and the likes, covering the length and breadth of the Sunset. By year five we had grown to a crew of five and before long the crew expanded to twenty strong, taking on larger commercial jobs and enlarging the Canning Electric workforce. Today, we are with a crew of fifty plus dedicated workers.

I have always followed the philosophy that if you treat your crew right, they will take care of your customers. I believe this is the key to the success of Canning Electric. I am eternally grateful to all the hardworking employees that have contributed to its success. I also want to extend a big thank you to all my loyal customers for giving me the opportunity to get up and do what I love every day. Looking forward to 25 years more!
